France, 1936 100 Francs, 78c, XF (two pinholes)

Scarce 1936 100 Franc banknote of the Banque de France. 78c is the rarer of the three signature varieties for this type. The note has a few folds, but is well preserved, despite being printed on thinner paper than US banknotes. The beautiful pastel colors show strongly against the white paper. Two small pinholes are noted in the lower left corner on face, otherwise Extremely Fine.
